As I sit here today, I think about the way things might have been... The way they might have been if you hadn't came into my life.... I may have been so lonely if I hadn't let you in...
I love you more than you could ever know. My heart was reaching out for you for so long that I just didn't know it. You came into my life and took a hold of me and let me see that there was a better person for me and now that I have you here, honey, there is no way I would rather it be.
I used to cry out for someone to see that I was hurting both inside and out, but all I got was silence, no one could hear me and no one cold see me in pain. All I wanted was someone to hold me and take all the anger and all the pain away, but no one would do that, until you came into my life and that's when my life was saved.
This poem may not rhyme, but its the way I feel about you. Before, I didn't know what I was going to do because no one was being true to me and all they wanted to do was to hurt my feelings and broke my heart, but now that is all over and I have been able to recover from all that. Thank you so much for saving my life and not leaving my side.
